The Future
In about three years I don’t think there will be any drastic changes from today in terms of our lifestyle and technologies. We will be a little more dependent on our computers and phones than we already are. During the decade of our 20’s I believe we will be focused more on our environment and how we can reduce global climate change. More alternative fuels will become popular and used in our everyday lives, especially since our current oil reserves are estimated to be depleted in our life time with the rate at which we are consuming it. Legislation will be pass the help control greenhouse gases such a carbon tax to reduce carbon emissions and stricter regulation of livestock to reduce methane. The economy will still be recovering from the recession, so I will be taking advantage of the several investment opportunities and see gains around the end of the decade. Most of our millennial generation will make it in the real world because the new technologies and ways of communication will become a part of almost everyone’s lifestyle in and out of the work place.
Last Sunday the Miami Heat finally beat the Boston Celtics this regular season. The final score was 100 to 77. In my opinion this is was a huge win for the Heat because the Boston Celtics are a potential opponent for the Heat in round two of the NBA playoffs supposing we defeat the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round. This is the confidence they needed going into the playoff, especially after having an up and down season for the first year with the “big three.” What was also on the line was the number two spot in the Eastern Conference between the two teams. The Heat kept their chances to clinch the number two spot by winning and sealed that position after winning the their next game. This article is important because it shows how far the Miami Heat has gone until now in terms of team chemistry and what they are capable of doing. After losing the last three games against the Celtics this season the title of this article could not have summarized this article any better. I believe the Miami definitely have the talent and capability to make it through the playoffs and into the finals, but they will still have to work hard even with their confidence up high.

There are a number of ways to remove the limitations apple places on their Iphone, this process is also known as jailbreaking. Doing so is no longer illegal because consumers are allowed to run any app on their iphone, including ones not authorized by Apple. I’m going to tell you two ways to unlock the full potential of your iphones, one way is for firmwares 4.0.1 and below and the other method is for 4.1 and above. It is pretty simple to jailbreak firmwares below 4.0.1. All you need to do is open up your safari web browser on your iphone and go to jailbreakme.com. Once you are there all you have to do is start the download and it does the rest for you. Jailbreaking 4.1 and above is a little more complicated so I’m just going to go through the process briefly. You will need to download two things, the iOS firmware you currently want to jailbreak and the latest updated software Redsn0w. Once you open Redsn0w just follow the instructions word by word. Jailbreaking adds an app, Cydia, that allows you download all the third party software and apps that lets you to do things on your phone that you could do before, such as applying full themes, better multitasking, and much more.
This song by the Outlaws spoke to me because it always got me pupped up and ready for my lacrosse games in high school, especially from 5:17 to the end.
I believe Spring Break is very important to college students because it allows all of us to vent and rest. It gives us a break from all the exams, studies, homework, and most of our stress. In this photo I am at my house where we had a party for a friend who was getting married the next day. I’m in the photo with the brother of the groom. I chose this photo because it was the first day of my Spring Break and I thought nothing could have been better than that night, but I was wrong. I was also able to reconnect with some friends that I haven’t seen for a while, such as the person in the photo with me. The groom and his family had move to Texas a few years ago, but they came to Miami to have the wedding. For the most part my Spring Break got even better as each day went along. The next day was the wedding which was amazing; there were free drinks, great food, and a lot entertaining stuff going on. The following days were the best. I hung out with my friends, went to the beach a few times, and got awesome seats to a Miami Heat game in the 200 section. Overall, I had an incredible break because I was able to do a lot and keep my mind off of the stresses from school.
Spring Break was originated with the ancient Greeks and Romans. They adopted a time during spring where young people were allowed to relax and reproduce because as winter ended, people began to think about restoration and new birth. Spring Break became popular in the United States when Colgate University’s swimming coach brought his team to Fort Lauderdale in 1936 to train. The area became a spring break destination for college students.
Chinese universities, such as Fudan University and Jiao Tong University, are putting courses online for the public on iTunes U and other public platforms. In my opinion this is a great idea because there are many people who would rather watch a lecture when they have the time instead of having to go to a class at a specific time. Although this is a great way to learn, I don’t think it will very effective in gaining a lot of support because not every course will be available, the quality of some teaching is not good, and the teachers have to agree to video tape their lectures. It wouldn’t be worth spending money on the equipment when only a hand full of courses would be offered.
This photo is a great representation of who I am because it shows some of my favorite things to do and people to be with. I love to travel and go to unique places, this is depicted in the photo because we were in Palawan, Philippines on the way to one of the nominees for the seven wonders of nature, Puerto Princesa underground river. This picture includes my two older brothers and a close friend, whom I’m all close to. Also, in the picture I’m wearing a lacrosse shirt, which is one of the many sports I love to play.

A viral video is a video that basically spreads like a virus through the internet electronically. People spread it to others by sharing and posting these videos on other sites or social networking profiles. They can also spread by word of mouth or email, but this usually is not as effective as sharing them on websites. In order for a video to go viral it just needs to be passed from person to person electronically through the internet. Usually an entertaining and amusing contributes to the rise in viral video, but it can also be a serious video that get to people’s emotions or one that amazes people because people do things that seem impossible. For example, videos that asks for people’s help after a natural disaster. There are also viral videos that are advertisements with famous people that are not necessarily humorous. Viral videos have given regular people their 15 minutes of fame because people from all around the world watch and give attention to these people in viral videos. A few minutes after watching the video the viewer would send it to others if it affected them in some way, whether it was because it was humorous, entertaining, sad, or whatever it may be.
The video I posted is originally from CollegeHumor.com from Amir Blumenfeld and Streeter Seidell. They have been posting a series of video pranks on each other called “Prank Wars.” In this one Streeter pranks Amir by making him think he won a half million dollar blind folded shot by getting the whole crowd to cheer even if he missed.
